Two of our homes are proud finalists at the 23rd National Care Awards. Braemar Lodge in Salisbury has been shortlisted for ‘Dignity and Respect Care Home of the Year’, while Kingfishers in New Milton is up for ‘Care Team’.
Alison Bremner, Home Manager at Braemar, said: “The shortlisting is testament to our investment in staff and their development. It’s all about enabling that sense of loyalty and commitment to the community of Braemar Lodge and being the best we can be.”
Speaking for Kingfishers, Home Manager Beata Brzozowska said: “We support each other in all situations and always strive to have a positive mental attitude. Every day we live the Colten values, and really mean it, on behalf of our residents.
We are extremely proud to be finalists. It shows that our hard work is appreciated and that is great for staff morale.”
Organised by publisher Careinfo.org, the awards are designed to ‘celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care’.
The winners are due to be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton London Metropole in November.
